To hear more of her talent I highly recommend taking a listen to a track on the album "Oceans of Fantasy called " Let it all be music " in which she guest stars with the group BONEY M. Other tracks worth a listen, " I'll be your friend "and "Love Can't Wait " BOTH on an album she did on the jive label. 6:40

I loved our break down on one of my alltim favorite childhood songs. I loved the song so much because it was so pretty, but it was ironic that at that time in high school I was crazy in love with this girl named: Fanny! 1976 or so. The Bee Gees were my band because of Jive Talking and their beautiful ballads. I loved them until they became everyone's favorite after Saturday Night Live. Then I kind of moved on. LOL! You should do a bass cover of one of their songs.

Jelani, I appreciate your reaction. However, but you seem to keep them in the 70s and they disappeared. Well I hate to disappoint you, the went on to write #1 hits for many people. They came back in 1987 with amazing sound. Living Eyes wasn't the only album. ESP, HIGH CIVILIZATION, SIZE ISN'T EVERYTHING, THIS IS WHERE I CAME IN. STILL WATERS. ONE OF THE BEST SONGS FROM THE LATE 80S AND 90S IS BODYGUARD AND FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS. THEY HAD TOP TEN SINGLES IN 5 DECADES IN THE UK ALONE YOU REALLY NEED TO DO MORE RESEARCH. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BANDS IN HISTORY. THE 5TH TOP SELLING BAND IN MUSIC HISTORY. PLUS THE ONLY SONG WRITER TO HAVE 5 NUMBER 1 HITS IN THE TOP 5 AT THE SAME TIME.

This may sound strange, but as a drummer I watch Stevie Ray Vaughan for ideas on how to play my own instrument better. His sense of time is so locked in and solid, it takes a LOT of discipline to play like that. I wish more guitarists would work on that.

I'm going to learn this sand see if I can dear fucking sing it on open mic. I could be mistaken but this is one of the songs that everyone had their own particular park.

Hey Jelani, this has been my favorite Bee Gees song since i first heard it in 1974 or 5 (Not sure when i heard it.) Lately though other songs are growing on me. Hey again -- you might be interested in the drummer Dennis Bryon's memoir about his time with the Bee Gees. I think the title is You Should Be Dancing. It's my favorite music memoir so far. His early career before the Bee Gees was really interesting, and then his insights into those BG years are SO interesting. For example, Dennis says HE first suggested to Barry and Arif that they go seriously funky. He also talks about Maurice's bass playing. I love Dennis Bryon. Yes, i looked it up, it's called You Should Be Dancing: My Life With The Bee Gees.
